Official Code of Georgia 40-6-189 (Georgia Super Speeder Law)
This particular law went in to effect January 1, 2010 and allows for increased fine assessments by the Georgia Department of Driver Services. A common misperception is that this law only applies to inter-state highways and other limited access highways (neither of which we have in Fayette County); this is untrue-the Law does apply to certain roads in Fayette County.
