Criminal History Requests

The Records Section can process G.C.I.C. (Georgia Crime Information Center) Criminal History requests for the following reasons:

• Employment
• Volunteering for churches, recreational departments, non-profit organizations, etc.
• Personal reasons (We do not accept requests for housing or apartment purposes)

Criminal History requests must be made in person and the individual or requestor must reside in Fayette County.  A consent form must be completely filled out and signed.  The individual must be at least 17 years old and must also present either a valid driver’s license, government issued I.D. card, military I.D. card or passport. 

    Fees:

    $20.00 per request (No charge for volunteering purposes)
    * Only exact cash, business checks, certified checks, money orders made payable to the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office will be accepted.  No personal checks.
