Court Services Section

The Court Services Section of the Field Operations Division is responsible for providing a safe and secure environment at the Fayette County Justice Center.  Their activities include physical security for the facility through a comprehensive access screening process.  Their visible presence also ensures that visitors, employees, and members of the Judiciary remain safe from threats and acts of violence.

In addition to providing a comprehensive security net at the Justice Center, the Court Services Section also includes the Civil Process Unit which supports the Sheriff of Fayette County's constitutional requirement of perfecting service of various Civil Litigation Processes.

The Court Services Section is commanded by Captain Scott Milam.  Captain Milam is a more than 25 year veteran of the Fayette County Sheriff's Office.  He enthusiastically supports Sheriff Hannah's personal goal of continual improvement in making the Fayette County Sheriff's Office responsive to our community's needs.
